Why packaging matters
The box is the first thing the recipient sees. A velvet box turns a medal into an award; a capsule keeps a coin collectable; a printed backing card makes a pin ready for the shop shelf. We make packaging to fit your product and pack each piece before shipping, so you receive finished goods rather than parts to assemble.
Presentation boxes
- Velvet boxes are the standard for award and commemorative medals. The insert holds the medal and ribbon in place.
- Leather boxes give a formal look for service medals and premium coins.
- Wooden boxes suit heavier presentation pieces and limited editions.
- Printed paper boxes carry your own artwork and suit larger runs and gift sets.
Coin capsules
Clear capsules protect coins from scratches and fingerprints while showing both sides. They can be used on their own or placed inside a velvet or wooden box. See challenge and commemorative coins.
Retail packaging
For merchandise, we supply printed backing cards, OPP bags with header cards and barcode labels. This is the usual packaging for enamel pins, anime and fan badges and keychains sold in shops or online.
Bulk packing for events
Race and event medals are usually packed individually in poly bags with the ribbon attached, then counted into labelled cartons. This keeps packing cost low and makes distribution on event day faster. Tell us how you plan to hand out the medals and we will suggest a carton layout.
How to choose
Start with how the item will be given. Medals presented on stage suit a velvet or leather box. Coins handed over in person suit a capsule or small box. Items sold in shops need backing cards and barcodes. Items handed out in bulk need poly bags and clear carton labels.
Ordering notes
Packaging is quoted with your medals, coins or badges and follows the same schedule: samples take about 7 days and finished goods about 14 days in total, both counted from the day after your deposit. Inserts are cut to the size of your product. The customization guide lists every accessory; request a quote with the product and box type you have in mind.
